Threaded Replies and Status Indicators Are Coming to Twitter
Twitter has reportedly started two new features for the platform which will permit users to ship threaded replies and bank check other users' condition with a new status indicator. According to a contempo report fromThe Verge, Twitter's manager of production direction Sara Haider, recently tweeted a few screenshots highlighting the upcoming changes.

The report further adds that the new features aim to make the platform more"coversational"for its users. In her tweet, Haider wrote:
"hey Twitter. We've been playing with some crude features to brand it feel more conversational here. presence and answer threading. Still early on and iterating on these ideas. thoughts?"
The threaded replies feature, which looks a lot similar Facebook's comment department, might actually be beneficial for the platform. Information technology volition definitely improve upon the platform'southward previous threaded replies feature, which was launched back in November last year and allowed users to reply on their own tweets to create a tweetstorm.
The status indicator feature seems a bit controversial as it will let users to see when other users are online. Considering Twitter's by dealings with trolls and harassment, the status characteristic might not exist the best solution to make the platform more than conversational. But information technology's nonetheless too early on to say how these features might affect conversations on the platform as they're still in their early stages of development.
